Pregnancy & Post Partum Massage
As you share your body with your developing child, you also share the many comforting benefits that prenatal massage brings to body, mind and spirit.
Pain Relief. Relieves body aches and pains, relaxes muscle spasms and cramps, and decreases swelling.
Stress Relief. Reduces tension, anxiety and depression. Promotes mental and emotional well-being for Mom and Baby.
Delivery. Reduces length of labor and delivery complications. Prepares birthing muscles for delivery.
Healthier Mom & Baby. Increases circulation, enhances immunity, and reduces fatigue. Health scores of babies are higher and aids in maternal bonding.
Post Pregnancy Recovery. Helps restore body to its pre-pregnancy condition, supports healthy lactation, reduces stress hormones, and facilitates healing after delivery. Supports healthy emotional state. About two weeks after delivery most women can have their first massage.

Therapist with Advanced Training. Steve Metzger is a CMT and RN with national certification in Pregnancy and Post Partum Massage. Very few therapists have this advanced training. He volunteers massage services at various local outreaches.
Client Review, Last Trimester. "Massage was one of my favorite ways to relax during my pregnancy. Steve demonstrated understanding of prenatal massage and wonderful technique. The heated therapies and stretches were gentle and effective. Steve showed a lot of concern for my comfort and personal preferences.” - Anne
Client Review, Post Partum. "I am a mother of twin boys. I only have great things to say about my post partum massage experience with Steve M. He is very professional and goes out of his way to make feel comfortable and relaxed. As a result of carrying twins, I had diastasis post partum. The abdominal exercises Steve showed me healed my diastasis." - Julie
