At Revive Therapy, Steve Metzger, CMT, RN -- a certified massage therapist and
registered nurse – will begin your session with a gentle conversation exploring
your needs and preferences. If you have a health condition, Steve also will
offer provide you with a medical consultation -- reviewing your healthcare
records, examining your posture and mobility, and otherwise determining the
safest, most appropriate, and most effective massage therapy treatment for you.

Basic Massage
Swedish Massage
Swedish
massage utilizes light to medium pressure. It is good for relaxing
tight muscles and soft tissue, increasing circulation, balancing
hormones, and reducing or eliminating pain.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep
tissue massage utilizes slow movements and deep pressure. It is good
for relaxing tight muscles and reducing or eliminating cramps, tension,
and muscle aches, especially those that are chronic.
Pregnancy Massage Services
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal
massage utilizes numerous techniques to the back, shoulders, hips and
legs to maximize Mom's comfort and function, improve Baby's heath, and
optimize the delivery experience. In the hands of a certified prenatal massage therapist
like Steve, massage is safe in each trimester, and it contributes
toward easier labor -- with fewer complications and improved baby
health/
Postpartum Massage
Postpartum massage includes relaxation and therapeutic massage plus specialized techniques to help the new mom make the important transition. This
includes treatment of the back, shoulders, pelvis and tummy that
promote relaxation, reduce stress, improve lactation, optimize the
healing of muscles used during pregnancy and delivery, and otherwise
assist in recovery and transition for new moms. This massage also
includes the option of instruction on infant massage. Babies are welcome
in the appointment
Professional Training
Professional training seminars offer massage therapists and nurses continuing education in prenatal and postpartum massage therapy, as well as skills and strategies for optimizing massage experiences for clients.
Specialized Bodywork
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy uses the Upledger method for gentle and very effective pain relief and improvement in your life. It releases deep tensions, relieves pain and corrects dysfunction for improved body health and comfort.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic
drainage massage utilizes light strokes to move water through the lymph
system. It promotes healing, decreases swelling, boosts immunity, and
alleviates symptoms related to fluid congestion. It is good for
detoxifying the body; treating headaches, vertigo, allergies, sinus
congestion, and acute and chronic conditions; and facilitating recovery
after surgery.
Medical Massage
Medical
massage draws on medical science and utilizes case-appropriate massage
techniques, to treat health conditions. It is good for treating problems
with muscles, circulation, and the nervous, genitourinary and digestive
systems.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release applies John F. Barnes techniques on fascia tissue for pain relief and better body function. Stored tension and trauma are released from soft tissue bringing emotional and physical healing.
Sports Massage
Sports
massage utilizes numerous massage styles, as well as stretching,
myofascial release, and range of motion techniques. It is good for
optimizing athletic training, recovery, and performance.
Body Wraps
Herbal Body Wrap
nutrients permeate the skin and the fat cells, where environmental
toxins are stored. The 27 nutrients dissolve the fat and exit the cells
with impurities. This treatment is good for improved skin tone, body
